About ATERC

The Brazilian Association of Cruise Terminals - ATERC BRAZIL is a private and non-profit entity aimed at advocating for the interests of Passenger Maritime Terminals legally operating in Brazil. It assumes the responsibility of representing them before public bodies and third parties, while also promoting institutional activities that seek economic freedom and equal treatment. In doing so, it consistently aims to contribute positively to the development of the cruise industry in Brazil.

CONCAIS - Cruise terminal
Santos - SP

The Giusfredo Santini - Concais Passenger Terminal began operations on November 23, 1998, as the first private terminal at the Port of Santos exclusively for passenger embarkation and disembarkation.

Concais is the largest Passenger Terminal in Latin America, covering an area of 41.9 thousand square meters. Initially designed to accommodate transatlantic vessels with 900 passengers, investments were made to currently support ships with up to 6,300 passengers.

Salvador - BA

The New Maritime Terminal of Salvador covers over 7,000 km2 distributed across the bay, featuring a fully air-conditioned structure, CCTV monitoring circuit, and access and inspection control.

Contermas, the company managing the New Terminal of Salvador, has invested in the qualification and service of tourists to increasingly integrate the port and the city, solidifying the importance of nautical tourism for Bahia.

The port facility covers a total area of 51,542 m², including 3,775.48m² of patio areas, 2,311.64m² of wharf, and 10,653m² of warehouses with a quay length of 998 linear meters across 3 berths within the Rio de Janeiro port area, under a lease agreement signed in 1997 with the Rio de Janeiro Port Authority (CDRJ) for a 45-year period, extendable. Nearest airport (time and distance) – 2 km | Direct access via VLT – 16 min.
