The Brazilian Association of Cruise Terminals – ATERC BRAZIL is a private and non-profit entity aimed at advocating for the interests of Passenger Maritime Terminals legally operating in Brazil. It assumes the responsibility of representing them before public bodies and third parties, while also promoting institutional activities that seek economic freedom and equal treatment. In doing so, it consistently aims to contribute positively to the development of the cruise industry in Brazil.
Its main associates today include Concais, a maritime terminal located in the city of Santos, which has received 13.5 million passengers in 25 years; Contermas, the Maritime Terminal of Salvador (Bahia), which has welcomed over 300,000 cruisers per season in recent years; and Pier Mauá, the Maritime Terminal of Rio de Janeiro, which has recorded the movement of 1,145,000 passengers in just the last 4 seasons.
